We’ve always felt like the time we get to spend outdoors is our most treasured time of all. In fact, most days we still wish we didn’t have to come in for dinner. From our roots in big cities like New York, Boston and Chicago we’ve run into a lot of people like us, still fighting to get outside and play even if we’re living the urban grind.
Monkey Bed was founded to provide us uncompromising city dwellers with kick butt active gear designed to survive the concrete jungle and look good doing it. Monkey Bed was founded in 2009 just outside Boston in Newton, Massachusetts. We are honored to be a part of this amazing neighborhood where so many great companies got their start. We also get to do all the right things from the beginning like using recycled materials and making sure profits are used to benefit the community it takes to make Monkey Bed a success.
